How Orchid Security launched the most exclusive community in cybersecurity

The most exclusive community in cybersecurity
Most companies launch a community and hope people show up. Orchid Security did the opposite. Avital and her team handpicked 8 founding members before the community even went live. Every detail was dialed in: SSO so members could log in with their company credentials, a custom domain at identity.darkmatter.club, and a private product channel only customers could see. The launch was timed to RSVPCon, where Avital and Zach co-presented on community building for security companies. Conference attendees who met the bar got invited on the spot. The result is a community so tight that members treat it like an extension of their security team, not just another Slack workspace collecting dust.
