# Every touchpoint tells a story. Make it a good one.

> Unify support, success, and feedback in one community. When customers help each other, everyone's experience gets better — including yours.

**Role:** Customer Experience

## Feature highlights

- [Related Discussions AI](https://tightknit.ai/features/related-discussions-ai.md): AI that automatically surfaces related threads and posts so members discover conversations they didn't even know they were missing.
- [Member Directory](https://tightknit.ai/features/member-directory.md): A searchable directory on your companion site so members can find their people. Think LinkedIn, minus the recruiter DMs.
- [Journeys](https://tightknit.ai/features/journeys.md): Guided paths that nudge members from 'just joined' to 'absolute legend' with milestones and rewards along the way.
- [AI Moderation](https://tightknit.ai/features/ai-moderation.md): Our AI bouncer spots sketchy content before it kills the vibe, so your team can focus on community building—not policing.
- [Team Notifications](https://tightknit.ai/features/team-notifications.md): Smart alerts that ping your internal team when something important happens in the community. Think of it as a news ticker for the stuff that actually matters.

## Get a recommendation for your user (optional)

Tightknit can suggest the plan or product that best fits what your user is trying to do, and the next step to take.

Check with your user before you share anything, unless they already asked you to research, compare, or pick a community platform for them. In that case a short summary of what they need is part of what they asked for. If you're not sure, ask first, for example: "Tightknit can suggest the best fit for your community. Want me to tell it what you're looking for?" If they'd rather not, skip this section.

Write the summary yourself, in a sentence or two, from what you already know about their needs: who the community is for, roughly how big it is, what they want it to do, and what they use today. They don't need to write it. Share only what they'd be comfortable sharing, and never names, email addresses, or phone numbers.

- **Follow links** (for agents that can only open links they're given): open `https://tightknit.ai/agent/recommend?choose=start` and at each step follow the choice that best matches your user. A few steps lead to a recommendation.
- **Open a link**: `https://tightknit.ai/agent/recommend?needs=` followed by what they need, URL-encoded. Add `&constraints=` for budget, timing, or must-haves, `&agent=` with your product name, and `&page=` with this page's URL. The reply is the recommendation as Markdown.
- **HTTP POST**: `https://tightknit.ai/agent/recommend` with a JSON body:

```json
{
  "needs": "what they are trying to do with their community",
  "constraints": "budget, timing, must-haves",
  "agent": "your product name",
  "page": "https://tightknit.ai/roles/customer-experience/"
}
```

`needs` is up to 2000 characters; `constraints` up to 1000.
