# Startup Program Terms

> Terms for the Tightknit for Startups cohort program, including eligibility, graduation, and billing

These terms govern the Tightknit for Startups program (the "Program"), a cohort-based offering from Tightknit Inc. ("Tightknit"). By applying to or participating in the Program, you agree to these terms in addition to Tightknit's Terms of Service and Main Services Agreement, which continue to apply.

### 1. Eligibility

To be eligible for the Program, your company must meet all of the following at the time of application:

- New to Tightknit, with no current or prior paid Tightknit subscription.
- At seed stage or earlier, or under $250,000 in annual revenue. Bootstrapped companies qualify.
- An incorporated company (for example an LLC, C-corp, or your local equivalent).
- At least one founder working on the company full-time.
- A clear commercial purpose and at least 10 customers or active users.
- One Program participation per company, including affiliates and subsidiaries.

Tightknit may request reasonable documentation to verify eligibility and may accept or decline any application at its discretion.

### 2. What the Program includes

The Program consists of a 3-month cohort of three live working sessions (one per month) with milestones between them, followed by a 9-month discount period for participants who graduate. During the 3-month cohort, you receive the Tightknit Growth plan at no charge for one community.

### 3. Graduation and the discount

To graduate, complete the cohort by the end of month 3: attend the three live monthly sessions, launch your community and reach at least 50 members, and submit the end-of-cohort feedback form. Graduates receive 50% off the Growth plan base price for months 4 through 12 (the "Discount Period").

If you don't graduate, the free cohort period still ends after month 3, and standard pricing applies from month 4. You're welcome to keep building on Tightknit at standard rates. If you can't make a live session, tell us ahead of time and we'll work with you in good faith.

### 4. Billing

No payment is due during the 3-month cohort. To continue past the cohort, you'll need an active payment method on file before month 4 begins.

The discounted rate of $99/month reflects 50% off the Growth plan base price for communities with fewer than 1,000 members. If your community grows past 1,000 members, Tightknit's standard member-tier pricing (an additional $99/month per additional 1,000 members) applies on top of the discounted base. From month 13 onward, standard Growth pricing applies. You can cancel at any time; the Program carries no minimum commitment.

### 5. Cohorts and scheduling

Cohort sizes are limited. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and close ahead of each cohort start; Tightknit will confirm your cohort and its dates when you're accepted. Tightknit may reschedule live sessions with reasonable notice.

### 6. Changes and termination

Tightknit may update the Program, including its pricing, content, and eligibility criteria for future cohorts, or discontinue it. Changes will not retroactively reduce a discount you have already earned. Tightknit may remove a participant from the Program for violating the Terms of Service or providing inaccurate information in their application; in that case any Program discount ends.

### 7. The fine print
